• I have 2 cookbook ideas, and I am also an INVENTOR.  Unfortunately, I cannot divulge those ideas here, because they would be stolen. So you're just going to have to wait to see what they are all about!!

 

• Experienced Accounting Professional with over 15 years preparing financial statements, account reconciliations, and expense analysis reports for local and governmental agency review.                                   

• 10+ years past experience in Retail operations and 5 years in Entertainment Accounting 1978-1993

 

• 10+ years current Accounting/Computer Skills: QuickBooks, Peachtree, MAS 200, Oracle, and  PeopleSoft/Financials  FCSM, SQL/SQR, Crystal reports, and  XML publisher.  2004-2014

• Expert Proficiency in Windows applications including:  Microsoft Office, Word, EXCEL, Access, PowerPoint and Photoshop.  I have created websites (including this one) in addition to having online stores at  Etsy.com, Amazon.com and EBay.com.

• Completed a Graduate Certificate in Governmental Accounting from the University of Georgia in February 2002.  I am trained in Government Fund Accounting and Budget Analysis.  I was also a Financial Credit Analyst for the National Westminster Bank on Long Island, NY.  1989-1991

• Supervised, trained and directed the daily activities of up to 10 employees in Accounting Departments and other public businesses (both for profit and non-profit 501-C's) as an Independent Contractor for Robert Half International 1998-2007.  I have worked with up to 25 models and performers in Fashion Shows and Talent Show Productions.

• Creative, versatile, and adaptable-- with additional experience in Credit Management, Marketing and Business Education.  I have worked as a professional Resume and Job Preparation Counselor and as a Youth Life Coach/Counselor preparing  High School Students for the current job market. I was also an Assistant Math Lab and State Exam Teacher for the Amityville Memorial High School 1997-1998

• Trilingual Language Skills: Speak, read and write fluent English, French, and Spanish.  I also speak some Italian, German, and Swahili.  I am presently learning Mandarin Chinese and Farsi (Persian)

• Type: accurate 50-60 wpm; extensive ten-key experience, calculator and keypad experience with up to 600 keystrokes/ minute

 

    

           DESIGNING AND ARTWORK

  

 I have over 40 years experience as a Designer/Dressmaker/Tailor

and was the owner of my own  enterprise named

Cosmic Creations First Inc. from 1972 until 2012. 

 

           I am what is known professionally as a "COUTURIERE"

 

  A couturier - is an establishment or person involved in the clothing fashion industry who makes

           original garments to order for private clients ONLY. A couturier may make what is known as

           haute-couture or other special projects. Such a person usually hires other pattern makers and

           machinists for garment production, and is either employed by exclusive boutiques

           or is self-employed.  Therefore, I do not just sew, and I do not just draw, and

           I do not just make patterns...I DO IT ALL!

 

            I designed and made costumes for local bands and professional music artists in New York City

           and on Long Island such as Mr. Hubert Laws, New York Port Authority, East Island News and many

           others from 1973-2003.

          

            I also worked in Public Relations and have prepared press kits and marketing materials for

           other professional designers, authors and crafts persons.

            I also knit, crochet, do needlepoint and work in leather and cording.  I do interior decorating, pillows,

           doilies, table runners, place settings and also some upholstery and chair covers.

           

            I am also currently learning how to paint in watercolor and acrylics. 

​

            I was an actor, singer, dancer and part-time model from 1974 - 1986

​

            I gave up performing when I had my children. My heart is still in Show Business, and I look forward

            to doing some movie "extra" and creative writing projects in the near future. I, recently started my own

            501C3 Non-profit Charitable organization and will promoting some new projects in Las Vegas this fall 2019.

 "What haven't you done? "

           

           Well, apparently I haven't committed a serious crime or gone to jail for murder, although there have

           been plenty of opportunities and people in my life whom I would have loved to have gotten rid of!!

      However, I am also a very Spiritual and Righteous person,

so my conscience and my record is clear.
